Ways to Volunteer
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
– Margaret Mead
Family Promise Metrowest was founded on the generosity of volunteers and would not exist without their continued participation. We work with individuals, groups, and corporate partners to identify opportunities that serve both the families and our community. Below, review information about the many ways volunteers of all ages and affiliations can get involved.
Ready to Volunteer?
The next step is to create an account in our volunteer registration database, CERVIS.
- Create your profile.
- Take the volunteer orientation. This involves a training that shares FPM's goals and values in working with families.
- Search available volunteer opportunities.
- Depending on the type of volunteer opportunity, you may need to come into the Center and complete a CORI (criminal background check). The volunteer coordinator will let you know if you need to do this.
For more information, please call 508-318-4820 or email volunteer@familypromisemetrowest.org. We look forward to having you join us and make your own change in the world!
