Campaign for Hope: Supporting Families in Need During the COVID-19 Crisis
In response to the evolving COVID-19 crisis, we have launched our Campaign for Hope and are asking for donations that will directly support our families. We are currently serving 23 families with 27 adults and 46 children across our programs and are collecting data on their emerging needs in order to address their individual challenges. In the process, we are also learning how support from Family Promise is bringing calm and hope to our families. As one mother shared with us, “I am so grateful to you and the LIFE program. During these tough times, to have you by my side is very reassuring. I hope one day to be able to pay it forward.”
On Tuesday, March 18, we cancelled our 2020 Walk to End Homelessness as a large public event in order to protect the health of our network of supporters. This fundraising event was projected to raise over 25% of our annual budget, and with COVID-19 impacting our families on so many levels, we need your help even more. As a result, our Walk to End Homelessness walkers and teams are continuing their fundraising efforts, but now in support of our Campaign for Hope.
