To transform the lives of families with children who are homeless by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education and comprehensive support.
Family Promise Metrowest would not exist without our volunteers. If you are concerned about the issue of family homelessness in your community and want to make a difference, we offer a multitude of volunteering opportunities for all ages.
With your generosity, we can change lives one family at a time.
Supporting Families in Need During the COVID-19 Crisis
In response to the evolving COVID-19 crisis, we are asking for donations that will directly support our families. We are currently serving 23 families with 27 adults and 46 children across our programs and are collecting data on their emerging needs in order to address their individual challenges. In the process, we are also learning how support from Family Promise is bringing calm and hope to our families. As one mother shared with us, “I am so grateful to you and the LIFE program. During these tough times, to have you by my side is very reassuring. I hope one day to be able to pay it forward.”
Sam Gloyd, a van driver for Family Promise Metrowest in Natick, MA, embarked on a cross-country cycling trip in mid-June to learn more about challenges facing our country and bring more awareness to the issue of family homelessness. He’ll be starting in Massachusetts and ending somewhere along the West Coast — wherever the road takes him!
