Barbara Ward

Administrative Assistant & Live-In Shelter Manager

Barbara has been a long-time volunteer for Family Promise as the past Coordinator for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Framingham. She was also the Sunday van driver for the families for many years.

Barbara comes to the Administrative Assistant role after ten years as retail manager at Eileen Fisher, following a long career in corporate buying and merchandising. She is enjoying being the center of all the action at the Family Promise Day Center!

Barbara is grateful to also be the live-in manager and have an integral role in the families’ lives in the Center. She is the proud mother of three grown sons and is so happy to also have two daughters-in-law and three granddogs! This role is the perfect fit for her life today.

In addition to all things Family Promise, Barbara is also involved as a volunteer at Stearns Farm CSA in Framingham. She loves to camp with her family, hike, and bike.
