Cristina Carrion

LIFE Family Coach

Boston native Cristina “Crissy” Carrion earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. After obtaining a job as a probation officer, she found herself wanting to provide more help to those in need and found a passion for helping families address obstacles they were facing. After dedicating many years to case management, Cristina began working toward an Associate’s degree in Human Services at MassBay Community College, and will graduate with the Class of 2023.

In her work with Metro Housing, Cristina case managed a scattered site that supported families in emergency shelters facing many obstacles to obtaining permanent housing. She has also worked with families and individuals with mental health challenges, including hoarding. She’s obtained several training certificates from MassHousing on Hoarding and Responding Effectively to Behavioral Challenges in Housing Communities. Cristina is very enthusiastic to share what she knows and provide the resources needed to help get families back on track.
