Keep the Promise Event- An evening of food and wine tasting to benefit homeless families
For children who live at Family Promise Metrowest a picture is worth just one word, HOPE, thanks to inspiration from award-winning photojournalist, Linda Solomon, who brought her nationally acclaimed program “Pictures of Hope” to our Day Center in August.
Ms. Solomon, who provided an interactive photography lesson, believes, “Through photography, children share their heartfelt feelings. Their hopes and dreams captured in quiet moments tell a story that few adults can imagine. The experience is “life-changing.”
Equipped with digital cameras of their own to keep, provided by Walgreens, the children captured unique hopes and dreams which
will be transformed into holiday greeting cards, “Pictures of Hope,” to be sold through Family Promise Metrowest. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used for the benefit of the children we serve.
TO PURCHASE THE GREETING CARDS, call the office at 508-318-4820.
